Professor DINH Tien Cuong has been appointed as Provost’s Chair from 1 July 2020.
Provost’s Chair appointments are for a three year period, and are made in recognition of the recipients’ outstanding and impactful scholarly accomplishments which are internationally acknowledged. Professor Dinh is considered one of the world’s top analysts working on Complex Dynamics of Several Variables. He has been invited as a sectional speaker at the 2018 International Congress of Mathematicians. He also received the
Humboldt Prize from the Alexander von Humboldt foundation in 2018
