Getting to S17
Getting to S17 by Car
- Drive along Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE).
- Get out at Exit 8 (North/South Buona Vista Road / National University Hospital).
- Drive along Lower Kent Ridge Road for about 700m.
- Drive past National University Hospital (NUH) and the Faculty of Dentistry building.
- If you need to park, look out for Car Park 10 (Visitor’s car park). The entrance to this car park is on the right, near the Faculty of Dentistry building. Click here to view parking charges.
- If you do not need to park, turn right into Car Park 10 (Season parking car park) which is nearer to the department building. There is a 15-minute grace period for vehicles without season pass in this car park.
- Note that there is no waiting or pick-up/drop-off zone along Lower Kent Ridge Road and drivers are strongly discouraged from waiting by the road.
- S17 is the building on the same side as the car park.
- Take SBS 97, 197, 198 or TIBS 963 and alight at the bus-stop in front of NUS (from city) or SUTD (from Jurong) along the expressway.
- Follow the sheltered walkway to S17 (on the same side of the road as the walkway).
- Alight at Buona Vista station.
- Cross the road to the bus-stop in front of the Ministry of Education. Transfer to public bus SBS 95 or SBS 198.
- For SBS 95, get off at the fifth bus-stop after, which is in front of LT27 (Lim Seng Tjoe). S17 is the grey building opposite the bus-stop.
- For SBS 198, get off at the third bus-stop after, which is opposite SUTD on the expressway. Follow the sheltered walkway to S17, the grey building on the same side of the road.
- Note: It is also possible to continue the MRT ride to Kent Ridge station – get off at Buona Vista station and follow the overhead signs to transfer to the Circle Line.
- Alight at Kent Ridge station.
- At the bus-stop in front of National University Hospital (NUH), transfer to internal shuttle bus A1, A1E, or D2 (all free of charge) or public bus SBS 95 (fare-based).
- Get off at the second bus-stop after, which is in front of LT27 (Lim Seng Tjoe). S17 is the grey building opposite the bus-stop.
- Alternatively, walk from the MRT station to S17, which takes about 10-15 minutes.
