ASEAN Mathematician Visit Programme

ASEAN Mathematician Visit Programme

This programme serves to encourage collaboration and to support growth in mathematical research in the ASEAN region. The visit may be initiated by the Department of Mathematics, NUS, or a faculty member of the Department, or a mathematician from one of the ASEAN countries.

The purpose of visit may include departmental collaboration and research interaction, and the period of visit may last up to 7 days. A visitor for research is expected to give a seminar talk during the visit.

Limited funding for the visit is available, on competitive basis. To apply,

  1. Discuss your visitation plan with a faculty member from our department. He would be your host during the visit;
  2. Complete and submit an application form, via the host, to the Department, preferably 3 months before the planned arrival.
