The Minor in Mathematics (MA) programme encourages and gives due recognition to students who have read enough courses to reach a sound level of mathematical competence at the university level.
The Minor in Financial Mathematics (FM) programme allows non-mathematics majors to obtain a basic understanding of how modern mathematics is being applied in finance, banking and insurance. It is available only to students who were admitted in AY2020/2021 and earlier.
The Minor in Quantitative Finance (QF) programme provides students from other Primary/Second Majors exposure to basic concepts and theories to solve problems in the financial industry. It is available only to students who were admitted from AY2021/2022.
The Minor in Data Analytics (DA) programme allows students to acquire data literacy and analytics skills that complement the discipline-specific education provided by their chosen major programme. This helps them to develop a well-rounded mind. It is available only to students who were admitted from AY2019/2020.
