Important Notes

This programme is only offered to students who are admitted from AY2021/2022 onwards. It is an open programme and students who wish to pursue it may declare via APAD in EduRec (latest) before the start of the fifth semester of study in NUS.

It is the students’ responsibility to strategize and plan to complete the requirements by the time they are due to graduate.

Students who are reading one of the following Primary or Second Majors are not allowed to read a Minor in Quantitative Finance:

    • Primary Major in Quantitative Finance
    • Second Major in Quantitative Finance

Yes, but note that maximum number of MCs which can be double-counted between a major and a minor is 8 MCs.

If your Major has 12 MCs of double-counting with the Minor in Quantitative Finance, you are required to compensate for the 4 extra MCs of double-counting by reading another 4 MCs from either the major requirement or the Minor in Quantitative Finance requirements.

No. This is because it is a specialized field and does not allow other modules to be used to replace those in the graduation requirements.
